BIOGRAPHY

Anna Davis Abel is a 2016 graduate of the University of Alabama's undergraduate creative writing program and 2020 graduate of West Virginia University's MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing.

She writes primarily feminist essays but has a special place in her heart for Southern fiction.  Anna is working on a memoir focused on coming of age, gender, and sexuality in Alabama.

When not writing or teaching, Anna can be found at the dog park with her pugs or at home, baking a recipe too advanced for her to accurately reproduce.
